    I love this place! Parking out front is street parking only but there are several slots marked 15 min parking for you.

    They are not fast by any means but the wait is worth it!!!!

    Today we got three original grinders, two with the secret grinder mayo sauce and one with the oil sauce.

    All came with lettuce, tom, cheese, pepperoni, salami and ham. It's amazing!!!!!

    Three grinders were cam to $14. Yeah you heard me right, $14. Can't beat that price for three subs.

    The building is in the middle of a neighborhood and looks like a converted house donuts a unique setting.

    The food rocks here. Give it a go!!!!

    The only reason you may need this review to compel you to go visit Sue at Grinders is if you're from out of town, which is good., be skeptical. What you'll find is a simple menu of fresh quality sandwiches made with care. The desserts are must try as well. Bring cash as no cards accepted.

    The food is very fresh and well prepared. Portions aren't huge, but a good price. Bread appears to be freshly baked onsite. Staff is very friendly and pleasant. I had the turkey veggie which was very good. Desserts are good.

    If you ever have the misfortune of driving through Austin, Minnesota looking for lunch, then I will say this is about your only option. I found myself in this situation recently. About my only other option for food was to see if a nearby bank was giving out complimentary suckers.

    It was a depressing ordeal. But I found this place. It looks like Grinders Deli is just an old house turned deli. And they make sandwiches about like my Mom does. I got one that tasted a lot like... like a sandwich. That's about all there is to it. Come here if you're in Austin. Get a sandwich. Done.

    Grinder sub is delicious and go to sandwich. The homemade bread is soft really good. The women behind the counter seems to be a sandwhich artist and a smile that is refreshing to say the least. PS rock a Carmel bar!!
